Big News!!

Well I wanted to write a post on John and I's BIG news! I'm pregnant! About 4 weeks along...I am due around April 12, 2010! I have my first doctors appointment this tuesday just a consult since it's my first time going to this new doctor. Brandon's been going there for several months. It's right accross from the Augusta Hospital so I think it's perfect. I'll start blogging when I get news updates from doctors and such!

Some updates

Well I know I haven't updated in awhile so here goes an update! John got a job!! He now works at G & E Roofing here in Augusta. He loves it and I love being a stay at home mom! He's worked there for a week today. Everything's going great! I called the state today and opted out of TANF (the state assistance I was on) So no more of that! Now I only get food stamps and once we get our finances in order and pay off some of our bills that should be going too! Of course our rent will go up since we are on state housing and it goes by income...I'm expecting it to get up a few hundred. But we are looking into the state housing assistance with new home buyers. They offer help with down payments and repairs for a house. So maybe in a couple years we can have our very own house. Kaiden is in a summer reading program at his school so hes on the bus at 7:30am and come home at 12pm. monday-thursday. His last day of that is July 30th. But it gives me time one on one with Brandon and with Brandon being at his dad's house on the weekends it gives me the same one on one time with Kaiden. I've been working with him trying to figure out whats going on...Slowly i'm getting him on his own routine and getting him to act better and listen...Not an easy task to do but i'm getting there. 4th Of July Weekend

So we all went camping over this past weekend. It was a blast. I was suprised how much fun I had...Was still stressful for me but hopefully things will get better for me. I have been having a rough time lately and I have to go talk to someone up in Bangor on tuesday. Hoping for help.. Anyways this weekend we went to Giordano's Campground in Winslow with John's parents. John and I spent alot of time in the canoe on the pond...Caught alot of fish and it was so much fun! I so want to go all the time but yea we can't afford it. It's expensive to go to a camp ground. Well worth it though. Enjoy some pictures from the trip!!

Crazy

We haven't updated in a long time so here's a quick update...I will try to do another post tomorrow....Well the kids are doing great...Kaiden's last day of school is tomorrow. He got invited to go to fun town/splash town with friends so he had a blast there. Brandon has deffently hit the terrible two's. Haha. I now volunteer at the Augusta Animal Shelter...I love it. It's alot of fun. I mainly work with the cats...cleaning them out and whatnot...I also clean out the ferrets, rats, gerbils, hampsters, and walk some dogs. John is a stay at home dad at the moment. I only volunteer 4 hours 5 days a week. Not bad. Still looking for a job but in the mean time John and I have been hooked to craigslist...We find free or cheap things, fix them up and re-sell them. Its fun for the most part...the clutter is driving me crazy. As a family we went to the Winterport Drags this year. It was alot of fun...First time for everything...We camped out the whole weekend. But thats a quick update for now.

Family Night

Last night we had my parents over for dinner. It was great. They brought the kids bubble stuff and they loved it. We had Pork, Chicken, sausage, and steak on the grill. We also had cole slaw and salad. My parents took the kids to the ice cream truck to get desert. I didnt take many pictures but here are a couple.

Mother's Day

I have alot of catching up to do on here. Mother's Day went very well. We were on our way and we saw a Moose on Bangor Street in Augusta...I was amazed! We met a guy in Auburn who bought some of Brandons old clothes from us. I've been making a killing by selling stuff on craigslist.com. I'm loving it. Anyways on sunday we went and saw Grammie and suprised her with a homemade card that the kiddos made. She loved it and it was wicked nice to see her again. Then we went to my Nana's and Auntie M's house. Was a blast. We ate hamburgers and hotdogs along with potato salad and deviled eggs:) Yummy! John and I caught a bunch of fish (like 6) there. Was fun!
