Mice from outer space!

Kaiden was in his school concert the other night. So here are a few good pictures we took that night. Kaiden had a ball! He loved having his mouse ears on and his face done. Brandon was having a blast as well. After every song he clapped and was loving it! Then John's parents took us all out for ice cream at DQ:)

Freedom!!

Alright...So alot has happend since we last wrote. The weather has been soooo nice so we have been having alot of cook outs on our new grill. It's been a blast. We had John's parents over for dinner as well as John's cousin, her husband, and their child Xander.

Also the REALLY good news...We got a van!! We have wheels! It's a 1995 Dodge Caravan..I really like driving it so far. The car itself is in both John & I's names...and the insurance is just me since I'm the only one with a licence right now. Now that we have a vehicle I can take John around and help him find a job in a field that he likes and enjoys.

The kids are doing good. John & I are still trying to find a displine technique that will work on Kaiden...He's going through a rough stage right now where you tell him to not do something and what does he do? Goes right off and does it anyways. But yeah...Brandon just went to the doctors yesterday and got 2 shots...Poor baby:(

I guess thats it for now. John is now working on the van...putting in a radio since the old one didnt work...And we are getting ready to cook on the grill...Does anyone have an old one? The one we have that we are trying to put in kinda sucks...Doesnt go with the car at all. We don't want a newer one or anything just a basic one...no cd player or anything...Please let us know:)

First "real" Spring Day

Brandons Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Birthday & Happy Easter!!!

I didn't get a chance to get on here for an blog yesterday so first thing is first...Happy Birthday to my Hunnie John!!! His birthday was yesterday and we took a walk accross town...then got a ride from his Mom to Walmart..John for his birthday wanted Lobster so thats what we got...We came back here and his cousin, her Husband (who we both went to school with both of them) and their son. They stayed until like 9:30 last night. Had a really good night.

Also today is EASTER!!:) The Easter Bunny showed up here for Kaiden this morning and I set up an easter egg hunt for him...Now I have to do the same thing once Brandon gets home from his Daddys house.

I will get on here tonight or tomorrow morning to upload pictures of Brandon and his Easter stuff...But that picture above is of Kaiden with all his easter candy from his egg hunt.

*Up's and Downs*

Well like the title says we have had our up's and downs...Not in the relationship ways but others. We were forced to get rid of our dog Chance due to our landlord saying he was to big. But we were lucky, i believe it was fate..I just happen to be looking on Uncle Henrys online and i saw this 10 month old Beagle...He was fixed, all up to date on his shots, and was regerstered...And he was free! But I told John that I figured he would of been gone, but we tried to call anyways. And come to find out the owner just put that ad online less than an hour before we called! What luck was that!? Haha. So now Welcome to the family...Buddy!!

The boys love him already...Well I just wanted to let everyone know about the new addition...We are going fishing once again today:)

Smelting Adventure!

Well today we went out fishing on the Kennebec river and where we first went there was no luck but we saw many people on the other side of the river so we walked over there. They were catching smelts like you wouldn't believe! So we gave it a shot. We caught our limit then walked back home for lunch and to warm up since it was still chilly and raining today. Then we decided to go back to get more!:) We are hogs haha. We wound up with about 300 smelts or so. So it was a real good day fishing!! It was the first time we both caught smelts like that and we will be going back for more tomorrow:) After John takes the boys to the Maine Sportsman show here in Augusta we will be heading out for more action. Hopefully they will still be hitting. My parents caught up with us also today and they couldnt believe how we were catching them. They ended up giving us rides back home...Thank You!!! I was getting tired of walking...It's a decent hike where we go.
